Description
A tendriled vine with trilobed, finely serrated leaves and stunning, large, scarlet flowers, followed by edible, green fruits. Passiflora manicata is native to dryish montane forests between 1700 and 3000 m elevation in the interandean valleys of Colombia and Ecuador. It makes an outstanding ornamental for warm temperate climates.
