Description
Echinacea is a geneva herbaceous perene, constituted by nine validly described species, all the originating species of north america, being the gender therefore considered as an endemism of that continent.
The species can be cultivated in vessels, in the full sun, tolerant to partial shading, only humid and promoting good drainage.
Fresh seeds that generally germinate within 10-20 days.
The species are also used in the industry of the cutting flower and in the manufacture of floral arrangements.
