Description
A small tree to 12 m tall with a well branched, spreading crown of broadly pinnate leaves and bright pink to lilac flowers. Gliricidia sepium is native to dry forests from southern Mexico to Costa Rica and is widely grown throughout the tropics as a multipurpose tree.
