Description

Jiaogulan is a perennial creek, originating south china, south korea, south japan and northern thailand. More known as a herbal medicine, powerful antioxidant with adaptogenic effects.

This plant has been and is used by the people of the mountains of southern china and north of vietnam, as a herb for longevity and it is regularly consumed of its infusion, in the form of tea.

The laboratory and clinical tests have proven the qualities as an antioxidant, reducing cholesterol in the blood, particularly the “bad cholesterou”. Also has been observed in the studies, which increases t-lymphocyte activity and may act as tumor inhibitor.

In scientific studies, more than 80 different saponins, the same substance that is the active ingredient in ginseng and has a significant reduction in cholesterol, well over the grape and red wine. While some of the saponins are similar to those found in ginseng, gynostemma pentaphyllum is almost four times more and that potentially becomes a much more powerful herb.
