Origin: northeastern South Africa
A smallish Aloe with a short. creeping or leaning trunk, broad, pale green to bluish gray leaves and a very attractive, sparsely branched inflorescence with deep dark red flowers. Native to northeastern South Africa, where it grows on rocky slopes between 1200 and 1600 m. It is best suited to warm temperate climates in USDA Zones 9 to 11.
